Kevin Hooper

Kevin Hooper received his B.A. in History from Providence College in 2012 and completed his M.A. in American History at Providence College in 2014. His M.A. thesis focused on missionary work in the Cherokee Nation during the American Civil War. Kevin is presently a Ph.D student studying 18th and 19th century American and Native American History under Dr. Warren Metcalf and Matthew Kruer. He is particularly interested in studying constructions of race, slavery, and space in the Atlantic World.
