John Buchkoski

I earned my undergraduate degree in history and anthropology from the University of South Dakota and my MA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I also received a graduate certificate in the digital humanities. Dr. Brosnan is my adviser at OU, and I am studying the environmental history of Colorado and how the contrasting visions of both land and water between Cheyenne and Euro-Americans led to conflicts that contributed to the removal of Native Americans from Colorado. I have presented at the North Great Plains History Conference and at the K-State Digital Humanities Symposium and worked on an article titled "Creating and Administering a Primary Source Analysis" for Perspectives.
